Thursday is Ellie's favorite day of the week! (Mine too!) Every week we head down to the library for storytime with Miss Connie. Miss Connie is the best, she remembers everyone's name (no small feat with the number of 0-2 year olds that show up from week to week), and she always has a song or ten and a great story! This picture is of the play area in the crazy big children's section, we always play here after storytime.

I know it's a little early.....

B
ut I'm soooo very excited about Autumn and all the wonderful things it brings!! Last Halloween was my first as a mommy. :) It was fun but I know that this year E'lanoir will be so much more aware, and I can't wait! This Halloween will also bring a trip to California to see one of my favorite people get married. Yes, she is getting married on Halloween, if you knew her you would know how befitting this is. What do you think Ellie should dress up as? I'm still undecided......

Colorado

It may not be to best picture, but this is the sign that welcomed us to Colorado over a year ago on Sept. 1st, 2008. I still miss California, but I know in my heart this is where God wants us to be. Colorado has been so good to us!

I'm bad at keeping up with my blog.....

So to make up for it you get four pictures today.
Four pictures = 4,ooo words, right??

Opps.... I forgot to credit the wonderful pictures to my Sister-in-law Sara. These were taken at our annual church picnic. Sooo much fun!

The great Colorado hail storm of 2009

It may not really be called that but on Wednesday the worse hail storm I've ever seen hit. This picture shows some of the damage to our windshield. Luckily Sara's father-in-law found us a replacement for $25 at a junk yard, because the cheapest I found online was about $170. We have been without a car for a few days now, but taking the bus to get diapers is not all that bad. Today Ray's Dad and his cousin replaced it, while Matt cooked up some delicious dinner as a thank you.
